Medical Directors Named
Two physicians have accepted new leadership roles at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center. Dr. Catherine Schneider has been named Chief Medical Officer, and Dr. Todd Spencer is the new Clinic Medical Director for the Mt. Ascutney Physician Practice.
Dr. Schneider, a general surgeon, will be responsible for the quality agenda at the hospital, supervision of medical directors, and leadership of employed physicians and providers.
Dr. Spencer, an internist, will lead the employed internal medicine, family practice and pediatric physicians and providers in Windsor.
A member of Mt. Ascutney Hospital’s staff since 2008, Dr. Schneider is a member of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Spencer joined the staff that same year, coming to the hospital from southern New Hampshire, where he had served as medical director of a medical group and a department chairman for the Hitchcock Clinic in Nashua.
