It is never easy being a patient in the hospital, but at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center our goal is to make your hospital experience as pleasant as possible. Our Acute and Transitional Care units provide medical, surgical, and transitional care to patients of all ages.Your medical care, personal comfort, and rights as a patient are important to every member of the hospital staff.

Our dedicated and professional staff works as a team to ensure the highest quality of patient care. By working with you and your family, together we can identify problems, determine goals, and develop a coordinated care plan. Throughout your hospitalization, these goals, care plan, and your progress are evaluated.

In addition to ensuring the healthiest outcome possible, the team process creates the best opportunity to coordinate care for you during your hospitalization and following discharge.

Our Social Services staff is available to help you and your family with financial and social concerns related to your illness. Our staff will provide counseling and assist you in planning your discharge.
