Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Announces Johanna Beliveau, BSN, MBA, RN as Director of Quality, Patient Safety, and Compliance

Johanna Beliveau, BSN, MBA, RN has been named Director of Quality, Patient Safety, and Compliance at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC). The newly created position is part of the Hospital’s Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to Dr. Joseph Perras, CEO.

As Director, Beliveau will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality and patient safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center names Pediatric Nurse Team Employee of the Month

For many years, Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) has honored individual employees for outstanding performance with its Employee of the Month award. But guidelines for the award have always allowed for a team nomination as well.

The Hospital is pleased to announce its first team nomination of caregivers. For February 2017, MAHHC is honoring its Pediatric Nurse team, with the Hospital’s Employee of Month Award.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital recognized as Patient-centered Medical Home by National Committee for Quality Assurance

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality, has awarded Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) Level 3 Recognition – the highest level attainable – as a Patient Centered Medical HomeTM (PCMH TM). This is third consecutive time the hospital has earned NCQA recognition.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Care Center welcomes new Corporation Members

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) welcomed nine new Members of the Windsor Hospital Corporation at its annual meeting recently held at the Hospital.

“Our Members are vital to the success of MAHHC’s mission,” said Joe Perras, CEO and Chief Medical Officer. “They fulfill many critical functions for the Hospital, from being ‘brand ambassadors’, to helping raise funds, to cultivating awareness and support for MAHHC in the community.”
