Rose Attwood Named Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Employee of the Month for November 2018

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) announced that Rose Attwood has been named as the Hospital’s Employee of the Month for November 2018. The monthly award recognizes employees who have demonstrated sustained service excellence in their respective departments and who have displayed compassion, a caring approach, and continuous hard work within their community.

As a member of the MAHHC Environmental Services team, Attwood is responsible for maintaining clean patient rooms, corridors, and other assigned areas, with a focus on the Acute Unit.

Wide-Bore MRI Technology Comes to Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) has announced the addition of a wide-bore Espree 1.5 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner. The unit will be available on-site at the Hospital campus in Windsor, Vermont every other Monday starting January 14, 2019. The wide-bore MRI will join the closed-bore MRI, which is at MAHHC every Thursday.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Earns National Certification

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) announced that the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at its Rehabilitation Center has earned a certification from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). This three-year certification recognizes MAHHC’s commitment to improving the quality of life by enhancing standards of care.
