At Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, we are proud to be a small, community based hospital committed to improving the lives of those we serve. Mt. Ascutney was founded in 1933 through the efforts of local citizens determined to keep a hospital and high-quality medical care in the community.
Since that time we have continued to achieve this mission through our commitment to excellence and to partnership with our community.
Our awards and accreditations speak to our success.

Our outpatient clinics—at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, Vermont, and the Ottauquechee Health Center in Woodstock, Vermont—have won recognition from the NCQA as part of the its "Patient-Centered Medical Home” program. In Vermont, just 29 of more than 230 clinics statewide have received recognition from the NCQA.
