We will happily work around your schedule! If you would like to learn more about volunteer opportunities at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, please contact us.

Our volunteers, people of all ages, work throughout the Hospital assisting staff, patients, and visitors in many ways. Volunteer opportunities include working and visiting with patients, the lay ministry program, staffing the hospitality desk, helping with activities and events, assisting departments with clerical work, and much more.

Volunteers in Action (ViA), which connects volunteers to neighbors in need, coordinate the volunteer activities at the Hospital. In the community, ViA volunteers provide a wide range of services including delivery of Meals on Wheels, transportation to medical appointments, minor home repairs, snow shoveling, and yard work. Volunteers may also visit with residents, provide short-term respite care, or offer shopping assistance.

The Mt. Ascutney Hospital Auxiliary, Daring to Care, and The Lay Ministry Program and Chaplin Services also have many volunteer opportunities to explore.
