We believe that everyone should be able to receive needed healthcare services ranging from the prevention of disease and promotion of health to the treatment of illness and injury. We also believe that having a regular relationship with a doctor is an important part of quality healthcare. The Windsor Community Health Clinic at Mt. Ascutney Hospital was established to serve members of our community who are not covered by Medicaid, VHAP, and private insurance, and who do not have the financial resources to pay for healthcare services. Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, in partnership with the Valley Radiologists Professional Associates, and community volunteers organized this clinic to provide access to a wide range of healthcare services.

If you have insurance, that insurance must be used to pay for your care. If you do not have insurance, the clinic will help you apply for any insurance program for which you may be eligible.
Continuing Care Program:
The Windsor Community Health Clinic offers a Continuing Care Program. This program offers individuals health coverage (depending upon his/her eligibility) for a period of 90 days while other health care insurance is obtained. This program can be renewed if necessary.
The Clinic is located at Mt. Ascutney Hospital. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The Coordinator or a volunteer will provide assistance and determine eligibility for the clinic. All appointments for medical care are scheduled during normal clinic hours. If you are uninsured and are a Vermont resident, you may qualify for Vermont health insurance programs. Eligibility will be determined based on income, employment status, household size and sources of income. The State of Vermont health insurance programs include Dr. Dynasaur, Vermont Health Access Plan (VHAP), Medicaid, and Catamount Health. These plans make up the Green Mountain Care program designed as a family of low-cost and free health coverage programs for Vermonters.
