As Director of Patient Care Services, Jill Lord, serves as the Chief Nursing Officer and the executive team member responsible for Clinical Services and Community Health Outreach. She holds an MS in Human Services Administration from New Hampshire College in Manchester, New Hampshire. She received in BSN from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont and has been a nurse for 40 years. In September 2011, Jill was appointed to the Governor's Blue Ribbon Commission on Nursing and in 2014, Jill was named the Vermont Medical Society Citizen of the Year.
In 1998, Jill Lord was instrumental in creating the Vermont Nursing Internship Program and now serves as President of the Board. As a nurse leader, Ms. Lord has a strong community health influence through Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, the Windsor Area Community Partnership, the Blueprint for Health, the Windsor Area Drug Task Force, and the PATCH Network, in addition to a myriad of other community health initiatives.
Jill works to foster high-quality patient-centered care through administrative supervision and support for clinical departments and staff. Additionally, she leads the Ethics Committee, the Acute Interdisciplinary Team, the Palliative and Hospice Care Team, OR Moving Forward, among others.
