Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) has appointed Hannah Houghton to the position of Director of Provider Practices. In this role, Houghton will have overall practice management responsibility for both Surgical and Primary Care practices at MAHHC.
Johanna Beliveau, BSN, MBA, RN has been named Director of Quality, Patient Safety, and Compliance at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC). The newly created position is part of the Hospital’s Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to Dr. Joseph Perras, CEO.
As Director, Beliveau will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality and patient safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
Christopher Snow, PA-C has joined the staff at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center and brings a holistic approach to his practice with an emphasis on patient health and well-being. Chris will be working with the internal medicine team to improve patient access.

Lauren Tormey, MD, a board-certified gastroenterologist, has joined the staff of the Gastroenterology Department at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) where she will be performing colonoscopies, endoscopies, and outpatient consultations.
Rosemary Dougherty, a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 18 years experience, has joined the medical nursing staff at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC). Most recently, Rosemary worked in a health center in Maine; she has also served as director and primary nurse practitioner for a New Hampshire university health service.
Joseph Perras, MD, has been named Chief Executive Officer of Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC). The appointment follows months of collaborative work between the MAHHC Board of Trustees and senior leadership of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (D-HH) to determine the right leadership for the Hospital. Dr. Perras’ appointment was approved by the Boards of both MAHHC and D-HH on Monday, December 12. He will assume the CEO position effective January 11, 2017.

Gay L. Landstrom, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, has been named interim Chief Executive Officer of Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC).
Landstrom, who serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock health system, will serve temporarily while MAHHC conducts a search for a successor to Kevin W. Donovan, who was named CEO at LRGHealthcare in Laconia, NH, on May 4. Donovan will leave Mt. Ascutney Hospital on June 15, 2016.
