WINDSOR, VT – Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center and Ottauquechee Health Center are offering the Flu vaccine during free flu clinics through November. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Vermont Health Department recommend that everyone aged six months and older receive a flu shot. The nationwide standard flu vaccine is available free of charge. Registration is not required however children 17 and under must be accompanied by a guardian or parent.
“Flu season is upon us and we are proud to once again offer free vaccines at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center and Ottauquechee Health Center,” explained Kevin Donovan, CEO of Mt. Ascutney Hospital. By providing the vaccine on a walk-in basis at multiple locations, Donovan hopes residents will find it as convenient as possible to get their flu shots. “We have a long-term commitment to improve the health and wellness of our community and hope residents will protect themselves and their families during the upcoming winter season.”
Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, 289 County Road, Windsor will operate flu clinics on the following dates:

Thursday, October 25th 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Ottauquechee Health Center, 32 Pleasant Street, Woodstock will offer clinics on the following days:

Saturday, October 27th 9:00am – 12:00pm
