Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center’s Director of Health Information, Linda Anoe, retires after 45 years of dedicated service

WINDSOR, VT—Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center staff gathered recently to recognize and thank Linda Jean Anoe for 45 years of service to MAHHC. Anoe was hired as the Hospital’s Record Librarian on October 16, 1969, responsible for organizing and managing patients’ medical records, and the transcription and coding of all health-related information. For the remainder of her career, Anoe continued to serve in the Health Information Management Department, eventually assuming the role and responsibilities of director.

Terry Berry Named Employee of the Month at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center

Terry Berry was selected as employee of the month for August in recognition of her sustained service excellence. Terry is a member of the housekeeping staff who provides services in the Professional Building. Terry is described as being committed to excellence in everything that she does and goes above and beyond to help others. All her tasks are done with a smile and she provides excellent customer service to patients and coworkers alike.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Employee’s Drug Prevention Efforts Recognized by Prevention Works! VT

Windsor, VT -- Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) employee Melanie Sheehan was presented with a Prevention Champion award during Prevention Works! VT’s annual Prevention Day event held at the Vermont State House. Sheehan is MAHHC’s Director of Community Health Outreach and Chair of Mt. Ascutney Prevention Partnership (MAPP), serving the towns of Windsor, West Windsor, Hartland and Weathersfield, Vermont. 

Terri-Lynn Picard, LPN, named Employee of the Month at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center

WINDSOR, VT -- Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) has named Terri-Lynn Picard, an LPN in the Hospital’s Physician Practice Clinic, its Employee of the Month for June 2014 in recognition of her outstanding contributions. The monthly award recognizes employees who have demonstrated sustained service excellence in their respective departments and have displayed compassion, a caring approach and continuous hard work within their community.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Employee Named Vermont Nurse Leadership Fellow by Vermont Action Coalition

New Program Will Provide Leadership Training to 25 Nurses 

STOWE, VERMONT (June 26, 2014) – Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) employee Margaret Hugg, RN, has been chosen as one  of 25 nurses in the state who will participate as a Nurse Leadership Fellow  in Vermont Action Coaltion’s new training program. 

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center nurses named Nurse of the Year and Outstanding School Nurse by Vermont State Nurses Association

WINDSOR, VT, June 16, 2014  --  Two nurses from Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHCC) were recognized for outstanding service by the Vermont State Nurses Association (VSNA) during the organization’s Centennial Celebration at the Double Tree by Hilton in South Burlington, Vermont on Monday, May 12.
 

Secretary Heidi Hamel. LNA, Named Employee of the Month at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center

Carol Morin, Housekeeping Staff Member, Named Employee of the Month at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center
