Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Earns Governor’s Award of Excellence for Worksite Wellness for Eighth Consecutive Year

Like every year since 2011, Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) has once again received an Excellence in Worksite Wellness award from the Governor's Council of Physical Fitness & Sports and the Vermont Department of Health. This award recognizes MAHHC’s success in creating a workplace that promotes the health and wellness of its employees. The Governor's Council is a physical activity promotion and advocacy group comprised of approximately 20 volunteers, appointed by the Governor and representing a broad spectrum of Vermonters.

Dr. Brent White of Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center named a Top Doctor for 2019 by New Hampshire Magazine

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) is pleased to announce that general surgeon Dr. Brent White has been named a Top Doctor for 2019 by New Hampshire Magazine. Dr. White also practices at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Five Nurses Honored at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center’s 2nd Annual Nurses Week Awards

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) recently hosted a gathering of employees and friends at its second annual Nurses Week Awards, which recognizes nursing professionals who go above and beyond for their patients and colleagues. The event was held as part of National Nurses Week, which was celebrated from May 6 to May 12.

Jill Lord, Director of Community Health, Earns Miles Jensen Award from Housing Vermont for Contributions to Affordable Housing

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) is proud to announce that Jill Lord, RN, MS, Director of Community Health at MAHHC, is the recipient of the 2018 Miles Jensen Award. Since 1991, this award has been given annually by Housing Vermont “to an individual who has made an outstanding volunteer contribution to affordable housing in Vermont,” according to the organization. Additional criteria include empowering underprivileged people, and donating time to create grassroots support for community improvement.
