Nutrition Services Department named Team of the Month for March by Mt. Ascutney Hospital

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) has announced that the entire Nutrition Services Department at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center has earned the honor of Team of the Month for March, 2018. The Nutrition Services Department provides healthy meals to patients, employees, and visitors 365 days a year.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital Names Michael Leathe and Mike Lane as Team of the Month for January

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) has announced that Michael Leathe and Mike Lane have been selected as Team of the Month for January, 2018. Both Leathe and Lane are Clinical Application Analysts in the Hospital’s Information Technology department.

As Clinical Technology Analysts, Leathe and Lane are responsible for designing and implementing information systems to optimize organizational efficiency at MAHHC. They also serve as troubleshooters, solving problems and providing ongoing training to fellow staff members.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital names April Lyman as Employee of the Month for October

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) has announced that April Lyman has earned Employee of the Month honors for October, 2017. Lyman is a Billing Patient Accounts Representative at the Hospital.

As a Billing Patient Accounts Representative, Lyman is responsible for follow up of all accounts billed to insurance companies, ensuring accuracy of all information and forwarding rebills to the proper payer in a timely manner.

Pat Titus named Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Employee of the Month for September

Companion Aide Pat Titus has earned the designation of Employee of the Month for September, 2017 at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC).

As a Companion Aide, Titus is responsible for the many aspects of the well-being of her assigned patients such as helping with grooming, ensuring a bright, clean room, reading, conversing, and providing emotional support.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital Physician Assistant Maurice Paquette earns specialty credential in Emergency Medicine

Maurice G. Paquette, MPAS, PA-C, of Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC), has been nationally recognized for earning a specialty credential called a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Paquette earned a CAQ in Emergency Medicine, for which he met specific education, experience and licensure requirements and also successfully passed a national exam in the specialty.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital names Nikki Bevis Employee of the Month for June

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) has named Nikki Bevis as Employee of the Month for June, 2017.  Bevis is a clinical secretary for Mt. Ascutney Hospital’s Family Practice Team.

Heather Rumrill , who is Nikki’s supervisor notes, “Nikki is the glue that holds the Family Practice Team together. She keeps all team members updated on schedule changes, helps to coordinate same day patient appointments, and is a true team player, working seamlessly with her colleagues. Her kindness and consistency help keep the team functioning smoothly each day.”
