Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Celebrates Certification of Three Rehabilitation Nurses

WINDSOR, VT – Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, a non-profit community hospital, is recognizing three of their Rehabilitation Nurses, Serena Lamontagne, Diane Daniels and Jacqueline Contois, on becoming Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses.

Lamontagne has been a Registered Rehabilitation Nurse at Mt. Ascutney Hospital since 2000; Daniels since 2006; and Contois since 2011.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Announces Summer Dare to Care Program Graduates

WINDSOR, VT – Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, a non-profit community hospital, graduated nine junior high and high school students from its summer Dare to Care student volunteer program. This 17-hour course gives students from ages 13-18 the opportunity to work alongside Hospital staff as a patient care assistant. In a class setting, students are educated about the confidentiality policies and different methods of communication. During the clinical portion of the curriculum, Dare to Care volunteers learn skills such as CPR and infection control.
