Pain Management

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center is pleased to offer a new Pain Management clinic for people who suffer from acute or chronic pain. The program is led by Dr. Tabitha Washington and her colleagues who come to us from of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

Dr. Washington says nerve injuries, cancer pain, and back pain are among the cases she typically treats. Patients are referred to the program by other physicians who may be having difficulties treating patients with pain, she said. Procedures include steroid injections, radio frequency treatments, and nerve blocks.

For information about the Pain Clinic, call Terry Ellison, clinic coordinator, (802) 674-7390.
