In 2007, nursing home administration and staff began to look at trends in nursing home care to learn ways to make our nursing home more home-like for the residents. The first step was a move toward private rooms to provide ultimate comfort and privacy for the residents and their family members. The nursing home is currently in transition toward this goal. When the patient census naturally drops to 25, the nursing home will consist of 15 private rooms and 10 semi-private rooms.
