Deanna Orfanidis, MS, RN
Deanna is Chief Nursing Officer of Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) in Windsor, VT. She joined the Hospital staff in February, 2016. Most recently, Deanna served as Associate Chief Nursing Officer for Inpatient Surgical Services at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, NH. From 2012 to 2015 she was Administrative Director of Inpatient Critical Care & Surgical Services at DHMC. Prior to that, she was Director in the Intensive Care Unit, Intermediate Special Care Unit and Life Safety Program at DHMC.
As a member of the Hospital’s senior leadership team, Deanna provides administrative oversight of the MAHHC Nursing Department with responsibility for the execution of strategic planning, as well as oversight of Pharmacy and Respiratory unit operations.
Deanna earned both her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH. She is also a graduate of the FEMA Center for Domestic Preparedness Healthcare Leadership Program for Mass Casualty Incidents, and of the Wharton Nursing Leaders Program. Deanna is an active member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and completed a Certificate in Healthcare Finance for Nurse Executives.
