Daring to Care, a program that introduces young teens to healthcare careers, graduated five students recently.
The program at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor includes 17 hours of classroom work, followed by volunteer rotations in various hospital departments.
The graduates are: Gailin Pease, Windsor; Liam McGhee, Sunapee; Bobbi Hart, West Hartford; Bryanna Cook, Claremont; and Samantha Lavertue, Claremont.
Daring to Care was started to promote interest in nursing, but now young men and women who participate are interested in a wide variety of healthcare professions. For information about the program, call 802-674-7440.
