Dartmouth Hitchcock Workforce Readiness Institute is accepting applications for its upcoming Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program. The Workforce Readiness Institute is part of Dartmouth Health, the largest system of community hospitals, clinics and healthcare services across New Hampshire and Vermont.
Medical Assistant Apprenticeship participants are hired by Dartmouth Health to work in one of its clinic sites alongside instructors and mentors while earning college credits and an hourly training wage. The full-time, hands-on training program includes both classroom and clinical training. At the conclusion of the training, participants will sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam.
Registration for the fall 2022 Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program is open until Thursday, August 4, 2022.
Medical Assistant Apprentices may work at one of the following Dartmouth Health locations: Alice Peck Day Hospital in Lebanon, Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics in Concord, Manchester Nashua, Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, Vermont, Ottauquechee Health Center in Woodstock, Vermont, or New London Hospital.
