Claremont, NH— Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) and Valley Regional Hospital (Valley) teamed up this past Saturday to support Turning Points Network in the 19th Annual Steppin’ Up to End Violence 5K Walk and Fun Run. Funds raised from the event directly support Turning Points Network’s mission to end domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking and stalking.

Over 125 participants joined the “Stronger Together” MAHHC and Valley team, which included about 60 MAHHC and Valley employees, their friends, and their families. Both MAHHC and Valley have held separate Steppin’ Up teams in past years, and this year’s team constitutes the largest group either have gathered for the fundraiser.

The MAHHC and Valley team raised $5,011.00 for Turning Points Network, exceeding the team’s $3,000.00 goal. MAHHC and Valley Hospitals also donated $1,000 to the event.

“This is what we can accomplish when we work together,” said Matthew Foster, MD, MMM, president and CEO of MAHHC and Valley.

In total, Turning Points Network raised over $125,000.
