Windsor, VT – Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC), a Dartmouth Health member, has named Alesia “Lisa” Silver, a licensed nursing assistant in the acute unit, MAHHC’s Employee of the Month for May 2025. MAHHC recognizes employees who consistently exceed expectations with reliability and daily dedication to their work.
In her role, Silver provides supportive and rehabilitative nursing care to patients. In doing so, she collaborates with clinical support staff, physicians and other healthcare professionals as part of a team-based, patient-centered care approach. Silver joined MAHHC in January 2010.
Ruth Doiron, RN, nominated Silver for this recognition. “Lisa is very hard working and cares very much for her patients. She is kind to everyone as well as she takes the time to help others when they need it. She is a person to talk to you when you need it,” Doiron said.
Doiron added, “Lisa is always available to assist others. If someone on the other hall needs assistance, Lisa will help. Lisa is always out walking her patients or doing their laundry when she has ‘down time.’ Lisa is compassionate and truly cares about her patients.”
