Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC), a Dartmouth Health member, has named Kristin Grace, Surgical Scheduling Coordinator, MAHHC's Employee of the Month for October 2026. MAHHC recognizes employees who consistently exceed expectations with reliability and daily dedication to their work.
As a surgical scheduling coordinator, Kristin is responsible for the practice's surgical scheduling functions in conjunction with the provider, OR nurse manager, and practice manager. The coordinator is also responsible for clinical secretary duties as a member of that team, and works with minimal supervision. She spends most of her days collaborating with clinical support staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals; participating in quality improvement projects; addressing the needs of patients, visitors, and co-workers; cooperating with other hospital departments and work groups; and sharing information with patients and staff.
Her nominator, Cynthia Ashe, said, "Kristin is a truly dedicated employee who has been in Specialty Services 10 years and counting. She takes great pride in her work. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure patients and providers have everything they need. Her strong work ethic and attention to detail help keep our department running smoothly, even during the busiest times. With the transition to Epic, Kristin has adapted quickly and embraced the changes with a positive attitude. She has been patient, flexible, and proactive in learning the new process and sets a great example for the team. Kristin is always willing to lend a hand and will step in wherever needed. She is a great resource for coworkers and our go-to person for problem-solving. Kristin's dedication, positivity, and commitment to excellence make her highly deserving of Employee of the Month recognition."
