As one of only two true inpatient rehabilitation programs in Vermont, we are widely recognized and respected for our rehabilitation services.
Our program provides intensive rehabilitation on an inpatient basis for patients who have significant impairments from illness, injury, surgery, neurological disorders such as stroke, traumatic brain injury and chronic disease.
During hospitalization, you learn how to function as independently as possible through occupational, physical, and speech therapy as well as therapeutic recreation.
We also offer complementary and alternative medicine therapies. The following therapies require a referral by your physician. Ask your physician, nurse or case manager about a referral.
- Acupuncture and Chinese medicine
- Mindfulness-based stress reduction
- Naturopathic medicine
- Reiki
- Therapeutic massage
The cost of these treatments will not be included in the cost of care billed by the hospital. Cost for these therapies is from private donations. If you are able, we appreciate your donation.
There will be a massage therapist who will be here once a week at no charge. Donations will be accepted.
