We are excited to announce that Ziopatch is now available at Mt. Ascutney Hospital. This comfortable patch can be worn for up to 14 days by patients and provides critical data to aid in the diagnosis of irregular heart rhythms.

Our respiratory therapists will be the in-house providers for this service.
For providers
Outpatients
The provider will enter Ziopatch continuous monitor for 3-14 days.
This will be reviewed for prior authorization and then sent to Respiratory for patient scheduling.
ED patients
The provider will enter Ziopatch continuous monitor for 3-14 days.
A call from the ED should be placed to Respiratory for them to come to the ED to place the patch and educate the patient.
For inpatients
If inpatients are to be placed upon discharge, contact Respiratory to coordinate.
