At Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, we understand that a cancer diagnosis can be life-changing for patients and their families. We offer an extensive suite of cancer and palliative care resources, close to home. With a strong regional network including Dartmouth-Hitchcock, our highly-trained and oncology-certified staff offer the treatment plan that is right for you—from chemotherapy, infusions, pain-management and hydration to alternative treatments.

Our entire oncology staff is highly trained and available to assist you with your chemotherapy treatments and other special needs you may have. Cancer patients in our area are fortunate to have the support and expertise of oncologist, Dr. Letha Mills.

Although she sees patients with most types of cancer, Dr. Mills specializes in breast cancer. Prior to joining the Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, Dr. Mills spent many years practicing at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She is also certified in palliative care.

I don't remember much of the badness; I was always entertained, cared for with professional excellence and pleasantly distracted.

Our oncology program provides very personal care to each patient and makes it convenient for many local patients to receive their cancer treatment closer to home.
